Backups not running anymore #102

I had 6 scheduled backs confirmed and done but now it's sitting at "Next backup scheduled for 2012-11-20 at 23:00:00". I have weekly backups scheduled and it's been sitting at that date for the last month. I have no error logs because it says I have not run a backup yet. We'll it ran 6 times successfully so I don't know what that's about. The last confirmed backup was on Nov. 14.

Is there any support in this forum or am I wasting my time?

Support is extremely poor. I've been trying to get this same issue resolved for weeks. It's like he doesn't even check this site any more.

Sorry, I have been on vacation for the last 3 weeks, hence my lack of reply.

It looks like you wp-cron has stopped working. Do scheduled posts still work?

Well it's interesting you ask me that,Michael.

I installed "Editorial Calendar" to schedule posts and it didn't work until I installed "Cron GUI". I couldn't get "Postie" to work either, so my host company set up a cron job for it.

If WP's internal crn isn't working as you say, maybe that's the root problem for everything.

Do you know how to fix it?

I ended up deleting and then reinstalling the plugin. It's working fine now.

Unfortunately I do not. It varies from host to host. I would contact them to diagnose the issue with wp-cron.
