A variant of NetHack that is designed to be a much more challenging experience than the original, drawing inspiration and content from various existing variants along with adding unique and never-before-seen custom content.
When you're wearing scaled armor, its passive attack only happens 1/3 of the time a monster hits you, just like when you hit a monster.
Blue-scaled armor prevents all forms of slowing
water walking prevents slowing via sewage
slowed monsters remain slowed indefinitely instead of for a single turn
This slightly buffs blue-scaled armor. Orange-scaled armor gets a buff due its slowing passive attack actually working. All scaled armors with passive attacks are little worse off now that the passive triggers 1/3 as often, which also lessens the impact of the buff to orange scales.
