There is a 54 version of the MX25U51245G which differs significantly and has it's own datasheet. In contrast to the normal MX25U51245G it has permanent 4 I/O, 4-byte addressing and default 10 fast read dummy cycles.
Here is a patch to add support for it. I tested it successfully on my Game&Watch with the MX25U51245GZ4I54.
