So their a bit of process to get the release on the global repository. I am 
working
on it and need to sort the rsync to the gmock server.

I've made a request for an automated sync:

So we should have gmock in maven main repository fairly soon

Whoo whoo! Gmock is now part of maven. And the automatic rsync should mean that 
new
releases will be much quicker to be publish in maven.
