I have a similar problem. I added the add-on and it keeps giving me script
error when it tries to download the meta containers. Im running 4.3 with the
latest icefilms 1.0.17

same problem on apple tv.
re-do jailbreak, install xbmc, enbale icefilms, and it give the script error
after I chose "download the meta data".
if I chose "remind me later", then it work fine, just need to download each
list for every subfolder I chose.
so, it is look like a meta data error

To change the dns on the appletv
from the apple tv screen go to settings
choose general
choose network
configure tcpip
manually
ip address hit done
subnet mask hit done
dns address 008.008.008
008
and u should be good...

Highlight 'anarchintosh addons' then hold down menu button, select Force
Refresh and also check for updates.
seemed to work BUT the 25 second wait (free account with MU) now makes me wait
60 seconds...... painful but better than nothing.

Same here, script error all the time, anyone got any suggestions?? I have
raised issue 62 on here with more details and have also posted on the

with the script error on everything I select at the last stage - just before
the sources from megaupload would be shown....

My Set-Up:
ATV2 on firmware 4.4.4
Latest Seas0nPass (unteathered) jailbreak
ATV Flash (Black) 1.1.1
XBMC version 11.0-0~b1
Icefilms.info Add-On ver.1.0.1 (updated to 1.0.2)
Issue:
Everything worked fine yesterday and now i keep getting a script error anytime
i choose a source.
It should load source like it did yesterday when i first installed everything
but now I always receive this error...
I also have the Navi-X add-on installed and the Icefilms repository from within
there works absolutely fine...
I noticed the update for Icefilms this morning to 1.0.2 and i did that
expecting it to fix but still unfortunately no luck...
What i've done to fix:
Tried unplugging.
Tried updating.
Tried changing my DNS to 8.8.8.8
Tried uninstalling and re-installing Icefilms Add-on
Tried altering the .py files from within ssh from "www.icefilms.info" to
"vds.icefilms.info" only to read futher on the post to find out that this is an
outdated fix and did not work so i changed it back...
I have also tried installing a fix that someone released a long time ago, but
this method was also outdated and did not work...
PLEASE HELP!

For anybody who needs the location of megaroutines.py on ATV2 , it is located
in
/private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/addons/plugin.video.icefilms/mega/
I know nothing about Python so it took my a second to figure out that
get_wait_time should be:
def get_wait_time(self, source):
wait_time = re.compile('count=([0-9]+);').findall(source)
if len(wait_time):
return wait_time[0]
else:
return 1

Comment 38's fix is awesome!!!. I fixed icefilms on both the ipad2 and Apple TV

For the ipad using ifile is the easiest, but be sure to delete the earlier
version of the megaroutines.py file and save as shown by Comment 38.
I used filezilla for the Apple TV and deleted the old and replaced the new .py
file.

Since I use windows, here is how I would do it.
Download the fix and save it on your desktop.
See that your apple TV is connected to your "TV" then use FileZilla (Host:Yr
Apple TV IP addrs/ Username:root Password:alpine /Port:22) to get into your
apple TV...find the folder in filezilla on your
computer..../private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/addons/plugin.video.ice
films/mega/, there should be an older .py file, which you should delete and
replace with the fix from your desktop.
Unplug the apple tv from the power cord and HDMI and wait 10 seconds and then
reconnect.
Hopefully this works for you.

if I watch something and then move on to watch something else I select the MU
link,the "loading" bar comes up... Then "waiting" in the bottom right but no
video loads.
Any help? I'm using Apple TV 2 on 4.4.4 with latest XBMC
