Currently, spring platform stable version is Athens-RELEASE.
That upgrade some popular library to newer release version (including spring itself) providing some useful api change and bug fix.
I think update the version should not have impact on projects that had used the archetype because they had generated it!
And new user could enjoy the new version of all the popular libraries!
I would like to help on this issue if it's ok to upgrade the version, thanks!
