The vision: I'll have a VPS that I can sync with. I've always wanted a home-server though, so I'll probably link the two somehow.
UPDATE: Got this working! There's still some additional things that need to be addressed:
systemctl --user enable syncthing.service
systemctl --user start syncthing.service
)I want this to be as simple as possible for me. Simply just ensure that the VPS is up, and if I want to connect a device, it doesn't take too long)
Gonna close this for now, but these TODOs still apply.
I don't really want to put my org-mode notes on github for some reason. I'd very much prefer to have them just synced with a server (cloud? physical? no idea)
There's probably entire software that I can install that helps sync that. I'd just need to set up the commands to auto-set that up every time... :/
Contenders: Syncthing, rsync, rclone (which I already have)
Additionally, I can sync basically anything at this point if I go this route. I could also sync Obsidian notes as well.
