I heard that wayland sucks on nvidia cards. Since I have a nvidia card, it doesn't make sense yet to switch to it. However, wayland and hyprland seem to be the future, instead of X. It looks like it might be good in the next few years. So consider it.

If I do end up switching to wayland, I should update my configs regarding emacs accordingly. It shouldn't be built with PGTK since that is optimized for X instead of wayland
