I don't think my i3 config has proper BSP partitioning, we should probably add that
update: there's a python library to manipulate i3??? it's called i3ipc-python. sign me up. that's SO much more convenient than using the syntax that i3 reads. it kinda feels like cheating xD time to go CRAZY
