Just in case if we ever do need to make a system-wide change that would apply maintenance mode to all apps, i'd like all the apps out there that at least have the SDK to be able to handle that.
Also, don't know if Jason has mentioned to you that he also wants to, as part of the SDK, send up some default device data. I think for our own stats, some stuff we should track is whether the app is using an SDK and which version number of the SDK.
