3 years ago There are multiple ways to control spam:
- Designate some users as moderators and only allow them to add items
- Allow anyone to add items but allow moderators to delete them
- Allow anyone to submit links but require either moderators or multiple other users to approve the link before it becomes visible to public
- Replace "anyone" with "anyone with a sufficiently high profile score" in the above methods
- Replace "moderator" with "anyone with a sufficiently high profile score" in the above methods
- Only show items to a user if they're recommended within their network
- Allow topic-specific moderators/experts, rather than global
Hide new items from the topic pages until they are whitelisted. Should they be shown in search results or not?
