Way back in the history of BVE/ OpenBVE there was a program called the BVE Route Randomiser, would it be possible for there to be a parser made for it in the "as yet un-named future train simulation platform"?
In terms of routes specifically designed for use with the randomiser, I can think of only two that were available initally, (being a Finnish route, and a metro one).
I will note that some of the techniques the route randomiser allowed, have now been implemented as features in the core platform ( like custom signalling, and rail switching.)
If my understanding is correct, you can use the route preprocessor to add randomness to the route in specified ways. This is not ideal, but should be able to give you a way to vary the route from run to run.
Feature request and wish-list statuts.
