Reformat all Python code with black #262

Makes the Python code easier to read. Also, my text editor setup reformats on save so I figured it'd be better to reformat in one go before giving you some PRs with huge diffs.

I'm closing this in favor of #273 — it had been open long enough (sorry!) that there were lots of changes and I figured it was better to just start over.
