The script plotTracks.py (run in the folder where the "geneTrack.txt" file is located), generate the following output files:

gene_track.pdf (distange enhancer-promoter and number of Ser5P around promoter vs. time)
gene_track_inset.pdf

To be clarified:

what is the meaning of the red vertical lines in the gene_track.pdf figure?
what does the "gene_track_inset.pdf" figure represent?
