@kix This bundle is not maintained anymore from my side. Just used on some legacy project I would say. @dbu what is the status on your side?
i also don't use it atm and don't plan to work on it. i think some other teams at liip still use it, i will ask them how they see this. and @kix, if you use the bundle and want to do some improvements like symfony 3 support (probably not very hard, if you switch to symfony 2.8 as minimum requirement), i am happy to review pull requests. or if you want to become maintainer, we could probably also give you commit rights.
From our side currently there is no update or extension planed neither, as we have a lot of other things in our pipeline of higher prio. Never the less it is possible that we will add Symfony 3.x support when one of our apps requires it - but i do not see that to come in near future.
I see a branch by @dbu, however it doesn't really look like it's ready to use. Is the bundle still actively maintained, and is Symfony 3.x support planned? Or are there any alternate bundles you might know of that would support inline translation editing?
UPD. LexikTranslationBundle exposes a REST endpoint, adding some Twig extensions there should be the way to inline editing: https://github.com/lexik/LexikTranslationBundle/blob/master/Resources/doc/index.md
