Hello Since today's update (04.07.2023) the moon button has disappeared and the websites are back in their original color :-( I deleted and reinstalled the app but that didn't change anything. Please fix this!

Apologies! This is a breaking change in Darkness 2.0.29 which was rolled out today (May 4th, 2023) to Chrome Web Store.

I just submitted a version with a fix (Darkness 2.0.30) to Chrome Web Store, which should resolve this issue!

It's currently under review by the Chrome Web Store team, and once they approve it (hopefully within a day or two), your Chrome browser will automatically upgrade to Darkness 2.0.30, and the issue will be resolved.

I'm keeping this ticket open, and I'll update it once I'm notified by the Chrome Web Store team that Darkness 2.0.30 was approved and rolled out to all users.

Yes, the button is back, but I can no longer log in because my e-mail address can no longer be found.

I don't want to have to pay twice.

Can you fix that too?

Darkness 2.0.30 was approved and is now on Chrome Web Store, which should solve this issue! You can go to chrome://extensions/ to see which version of Darkness you have. If it didn't update to 2.0.30 yet, you may want to hit the "Update" button:
