SpaGene is a useful tool in discovering the communication patterns in ST analyses. But i raised a question of how the interaction density was identified and how the 'score' value was generated.

The score is calculated by comparing the observed co-localization to the random. The interaction density is based on the co-localization density. For more details, please refer to our publication in Genome Research.
