HI @thanpolas - thanks for the talk proposal - sorry it's taken a while to respond....
Looks great - I think anything that furthers our understanding of the inner workings of JavaScript can only be a good thing.
A couple thoughts off the top of my head that I think would be very useful to our node audience:
A couple things we need to confirm:
Looks like we have some space for a talk on February 28th or March 28th - would either of those suit you?
@lnug/organisers - can we get some other thoughts and a seconder to support this talk?
Very spot on remarks @admataz
The presentation is 3 years old so I'd definitely revamp it, your remarks are a very good guide.
I can do February the 28th, thank you!
Good stuff!
Hi @thanpolas, I know you commented over here https://github.com/lnug/event-planning/issues/1 but I just wanted to confirm you're all sorted to speak next week? If there's anything we can do to help then please let us know.
Cheers, Clarkie
Hey @clarkie yes I confirm, looking forward
Great, we'll see you there.
Thanks @thanpolas for your talk and contribution! I'll let you know when the video is available.
Video uploaded - thanks again @thanpolas - https://youtu.be/2DWmHN2c_10
Javascript inheritance has always been a challenging issue for new and seasoned developers. In this talk, we will dive deep into the inner workings of Javascript inheritance and see the beauty of prototypical inheritance and the prototype chain. While this is a classic talk, it is particularly relevant to the current debate in the React community over the use of fat arrow vs pre-bounded methods. Talk slides
