How to build a real-time application with Node #59

Closed zsid closed 8 years ago

I would like to do a beginner level talk on Node. As someone who is just starting to learn Node, I want to share my experience and make a walkthrough presentation. I haven't decided whether I will be building a game or not.

Hi @zsid - I wonder if you could provide a little more specific detail in your talk introduction - maybe describe some of the topics you will be covering - and be clear about what you've decided to talk about? I'm just preparing the LNUG newsletter - and some of the feedback has been that your talk sounds interesting, but they would like to know a little more detail. Looking forward to hearing you speak next week... Thanks!

Hi Adam,

Apologies for the late reply. The last few days were hectic.

I will do an intro to Node, doing a Node.js Hello World. Then, I will briefly talk about Express, finishing with creating a simple To-do list app, using socket.io.

I am looking forward to meeting you next week.

Thanks, Zhivko
