For every interlinear-gloss tag consider decreasing line height. This will make each such interlinear-gloss block look as transferring one single block of information.

However, don't change it for space between two interlinear-gloss blocks.

But when there are 2 or 3 loj/gloss chunks, if you have the English chunk very close to the last loj/gloss chunk ,that gives the impression that the English goes with the last chunk. E.g. Example 1.45

Note that I did tighten up the spacing between the lojban and gloss bits. Tightening up the spacing with the English translations is .. harder.
