Example 3.5 is {brlgan}. As a consonantal syllable consists of two consonants, the second of which is syllabic, there's no way to syllabify this wordoid.

Long ago I tried to update the whole chapter to describe BPFK morphology, and the examples there of syllable structure all used non-cmevla. Maybe I'll return to that someday and trim it into something that fits CLL (it went into far too much detail iirc)
