I read the link you posted and it is not quite the same issue, its backward.
I know where the variant.cpp file is in the repetier folder...
It says to REPLACE the file, where is the one that needs to be replaced? there is NOT a variant.cpp file under C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\arduino\avr\variants.. which is where I expected to find it..

Stupid windows was hiding the DIR.
I got everything moved, flashing now.
It flashed fully and is now verifying, but its hanging out on 89%, ill give it a bit longer but I think I remember reading something about this.

Well it just stayed at 89% for several minutes so I closed arduino and shut the printer off.
powered it back on and there are no longer any black bars, just a blank screen.
I tried to reflash again with verify disable and it went through and said CPU reboot, but still nothing..
nothing whatsoever.
ok so now i cant jumper it back to black bars...
All i get is a completely blank screen, nothing else.
read the verification issue FAQ, none of the listed reasons make sense with my issue.
Nothing is wrong with my USB cable, Im not running VMware. and the jumper is not left in place.
Im not getting a verification FALED message, it just stuck at 89%
just ran it again with verification on, it went through just fine.

The program can still see the board, so I guess there is hope.
However i cannot get it back to where it was before the last flash, where there are the black bars on the screen.

The screen doesent display anything.
Repetier host can see the printer, and tries to print but gives me an error that temp was raised too slow.
I can muddle my way through the rest I think, but I would really like to get the screen to show something
do you have a 2.0 or a 2.0A ? (2.0 = normal SD, 2.0A =micro SD)
Do you see EEPROM.bin from repetier SD card management? if yes delete it and power off printer, if no remove SD card and delete EEPROM.BIN from PC
I have the 2.0A with the micro SD
Where am I looking for these files? in the arduino program?

When trying to print the bed heats up but the extruders never do and it kicks back the error saying

I did notice one thing,
when I go to print It says: Select Extruder 0 instead of 1 or 2.. is that maybe part of the problem with the heating?
As you cannot see screen you cannot load fail-safe settings but did you send M502/M500 instead as write in readme ?

No, 2.0A does not have SHARED_EXTRUDER_HEATER, it has 2 extruders each one using one heater
All I can see until now, it is that you do not follow strictly what it is mentioned in readme / https://github.com/luc-github/Repetier-Firmware-0.92/issues/175#issuecomment-239762985
I suggest you to remove all arduino files/ delete FW files reinstall arduino 1.6.9 / due 1.6.8 and FW and slowly / carefully follow each step of readme or https://github.com/luc-github/Repetier-Firmware-0.92/issues/175#issuecomment-239762985
As I cannot imagine others change you may have done to get the lcd not working, I really suggest you to stick to what is written as you seems to do others changes on your own that affect the fw which work on others 2.0A - this is the best advice I can give

Turn off printer Remove SD card from printer and delete EEPROM.BIN from card
Reinstall SD card and power printer on.

So I m back to the same point, nothing on the screen, and the extruders wont heat.
Did I miss anything?
I posted this issue with the heating on the repetier forums and it was suggested that the correct heater output pin may not be selected.
But Im not sure where to look for that.
I do not think it is the issue - it is working on other 2.0A see https://github.com/luc-github/Repetier-Firmware-0.92/issues/94 you can use same https://github.com/luc-github/Repetier-Firmware-0.92/releases/tag/v0.92.3.0 to verify the 0.92.10 is not broken for 2.0A which I doubt as it is working on 1.0A/AiO
About heating I guess more about hardware failure check https://forum.voltivo.com/showthread.php?tid=8517
EDIT: you can disable decouple test in configuration.h to check what is wrong
About screen, nothing = no backlight + no char or backlight + no char ?
trying the version you posted.
I highly doubt anything is wrong with the hardware considering everything was working perfectly just before flashing this firmware.

well short the davinci is easy - just use metal brush too strong cleaning noozle and it is done, another possiblity is connector loose - but this should be detected if disable decouple test allow to heat
The screen has not worked since i flashed this firmware.
setting FEATURE_DECOUPLE_TEST to 0 causes a failure to compile.

I am checking now as did not test the decouple test with latest update - I may miss something

NOTE: the temperature sensors on the extrudes ARE working, and it shows the correct temp.

M107 unknow command is normal - Davinci does not allow fan control
can you share your begining part of GCODE code your are using for printing ? the part which set temperatures for extruders

The issue is, where to I place it in the Ardino program group?
C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\arduino\avr\variants does not contain a variant.cpp files..
so where does it go?
I tried skipping the step, and continuing on and everything goes along as it should but after the firmware upload and the reboot i get nothing, its not even recognized by windows after that. I have to jumper J37 and start over.
