Prize Title

Challenge Description

The next wave of social media and DAO applications built on-chain will be built with Universal Profiles, allowing for censorship resistant and verifiable social interaction and coordination. LUKSO’s new smart contract and metadata standards unlock many possibilities. For example, projects can set up web pages by directly fetching data from Universal Profiles and LUKSO Standard Proposals (LSPs) could extend Universal Profile features to allow followers and chatting.

For this bounty, develop a DAO voting system that allows Universal Profiles to control and vote on a DAO Universal Profile. The voting system could replace the usual LSP6 - Key Manager as the owner or be added as a controlling smart contract ontop of the Key Manager of the DAO Universal Profile.

Prizes

1st Prize: $30,000
2nd Prize: $20,000
3rd Prize: $10,000

Note: All submissions are automatically considered for the Community Choice Award prize pool of $40,000. All prizes will be denominated in LYXe at the time of payout. We reserve the right to not pay out the full prize if the submission does not meet the minimum criteria.

Getting Started

Build on the LUKSO L16 Public Testnet.
Use the Universal Profile Browser Extension as the user interface.
Experiment and build with LUKSO’s Universal Profiles, new smart contract standards and tools.
You are encouraged to use the following libraries: lsp-factory.js, erc725.js and the relayer API (if you want to hide transaction fees from your users).

Submission Requirements

Your submission should contain the following:

Create a public GitHub repository for your project, then submit it using the Gitcoin platform.
Create a README.md which contains the project name, name and email of team members, and explains the project and how to run it.
Include a video (about 3 minutes) that demonstrates your submission. Videos must be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, or Facebook Video and made public.
Please submit your project by August 31st at 5pm CEST.

Judging Criteria

Potential Contribution: How will this project contribute to the growth of the LUKSO ecosystem?
Originality & Creativity: How novel and innovative is the idea?
Technical Excellence: Is the code well-written, well-documented, and/or technically innovative?
User Experience & Design: Does the design of the project make the user experience easy?
Usage of LUKSO’s new standards and tools: To what extent are the available standards and tools leveraged?

I will build a DAO management tool. 3) alphadataomega has started work.

ĀDO (AlphaDataOmega) Token is a sole owned, equity based, governance enabled DAO Token. It allows it's holders to be paid dividends from earnings into the DAO's Properties. This protocol will hopefully be able to replace stocks as the current form of equity investing. The ĀDO DAO will be collecting fees from another submission to the Social Media project bounty: ThisRightNow. 4) mitchtodo has started work.

DaoManager allows UPs to control and vote on a DAO Universal Profile. 5) wrybakiewicz has started work.

Working on it 6) ajand has started work.

I have focused on the UX and Stability of this project. Transformed OpenZepplin governance contracts to work with LSPs standards, and also created an extension of LSP7 called LSP7Votes which gives the ability to snapshot and delegate votes to users.
