Lai

Lai is a command line program to store notes and keep them synchronized between multiple computers. The idea is to keep your commands, shortcuts, snippets and anything you want to have on hand at the console. You can also share notes with others.

To sync your notes you can set your own lai-server_ or use the public lai-server at http://lai.nerdlabs.com.ar

Lai uses sqlite3 as default database engine, but can use mysql and mongodb.

Docker image

Create an account on http://lai.nerdlabs.com.ar and then run the docker image::

$ docker run -it \
    --env USER= \                           # user on lai.nerdlabs.com.ar
    --env KEY_NAME= \                       # pub key name on lai.nerdlabs.com.ar
    -v ~/.ssh/id_rsa:/root/.ssh/id_rsa \    # path to your private key
    -v ~/var/lai:/app/data \                # dir to store data
    --rm=true \                             # remove container after run
    lvidarte/lai python lai/app.py

Just create an alias::

alias lai='docker run -it \
           --env USER= \
           --env KEY_NAME= \
           -v ~/.ssh/id_rsa:/root/.ssh/id_rsa \
           -v ~/var/lai:/app/data \
           --rm=true \
           lvidarte/lai python lai/app.py'
