I don't have a fix for you, but I do have 2 apple TV's, one wired and the other
wifi, as well as a MacBook with wifi, and all seem to be doing what you
described. I have a third apple tv wired though that is working fine as of yet.

ok. used this fix -- everything fuckin loads now i just did 5 in a row back to
back no problems -- props to whoever the fuck in the other thread cant remember
his name
change the cache size settings with these instructions

=74301298&postcount=212
instead of setting the cache size to 30242880 set it to 0 (unlimited caching)
works like a fucking charm, not getting off my couch for a week.

The fix in comment 7 did not work for me. I applied the patch and am still
having the following issue.
I load icefilms and am able to watch a program, but once I leave that
particular program and try to watch a different video icefilms shows the
working message when trying to load video, then working message disappears and
nothing plays.
This is becoming increasingly frustrating. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Is there a fix that works?

i also read in another forum if you press the menu button and then select stop
from the menu to stop the video as it thinks you another stream open the second
and so on video will work. I tried this and it did not work for me. Also iv
noticed when i get this issue when the 2nd video does not work, i bring up the
menu and select check mega limits, i then see a message at the bottom saying
script error. Anyone else get this?

after that i came accross the issue again.

Same problem on ATV2, 4.4.4, newest Icefilms firmware. - sometimes I fix it
with unplugging the power from ATV2 and then replugging it.
Its the most annoying thing and I cannot believe there is no fix for this.

I'm sorry to say I have the issue as well since Sunday evening.
I'm on Ubuntu 10.04 with XBMC Eden and the latest plugin version...
The files are found, but once I try to load one, either nothing happens at all,
or I get a brief working message after which nothing happens...
The fix suggested in comment 7 doesn't work for. I don't believe it can work
anyway - because the script is not loading anything, there's also nothing to
cache anyway...

issue. since i did that fix, i havent had a single movie stall up on me. what i
do now, is after im done watching one movie or back out of a movie, i get up go
to the bathroom, make a snack whatever, and 5 10 mins later i dont get the non
loading video thing. i am generally pleased now

Installed 2 ATV2 today, one with firmware version 4.4.4 which I had this
problem with.
The other I installed version 4.3 and that worked fine.
Maybe just a coincidence, but worth a try ??!!

had this issue occur and reoccur on me multiple times. Tried to watch
smallville season 6 episode 9 i think? It's called Rage. about 3 or 4 minutes
in the stream would freeze and either i wait a few mins for it to go back to
icefilms menu, or just unplug. However afterwards the working message was
appearing but nothing would happen. Time seemed to solve the issue, cause 20
mins later i got the stream working again, however it seems to crash at the
same exact spot everytime I try to watch the episode, thus reviving the issue.
I finally just skipped the episode and all the others work fine. Could this be
a link related issue that we are experiencing?

Just installed XMBC (latest edition) on my ATV2 4.4.4 and I'm getting this
problem as well. I'll select a video and it may work, but if I close out of it
to select a different video I get what is described in the above posts. The
"Working" dialogue goes for a second and then nothing happens. Restarting the
ATV2 allows me to play a single video, but upon closing it, it reverts back to
the issue. I searched around but wasn't able to find any suggestions on how to
fix it. Hopefully someone figures it out because this really does seem like an
awesome program to have!

Im still trying to figure out this problem. Seems like the issue is not having
a megaupload premium account and the free account exceeded its bandwidth or
daily download limit. So far waiting a few minutes (5-10) seems to fix this
issue. Does anyone have a premium account and still is having trouble playing a
second movie?

Signing up for a premium account fixed the issue 100%...

Having an acount or not doesent have anything to say.
A friend of mine have this exact problem. Then we tried his ATV2 4.4.4 at my
house, and then it worked perfectly.
So, can this have anything to do with what ISP you have or some ports not open
in a router?

But, when I signed out the problem disappeared.
anyway, I know that they (MU) changed somthing in their system as I also had to
update the plugin in jdownloader, so I guess there's a fix.

I tried my atv2 on a different router and I was having this issue. Then I
tried it on mine and it worked perfectly. So it would appear the problem lies
within the router settings. I haven't tried changing the router settings yet,
so if someone else wants to try and post the fix please do. Thanks.

path is different. for me im going in to xbmc, addons, then xbmc.addon is that
the right place to put it??? also i just put navi x on there and although its
nowhere near as good it does play everything that isnt a dead link though I
havent found anything that streams from megaupload yet to see if that will
stream through it.

Have only been able to watch about an hour of a film before it stops. I am then
only able to watch a few minutes before it kicks me out.
As per comment 44, I have done the same and tried a fresh install and no
difference. Shame really as I would really like to watch the other half of the
