Filtering models in ModelDB #36

Hi Michele, please review the following changes:

New models (no need to review, really)
Filtering models in ModelDB tab
Minor changes to solve small issues (most notable a problem with checking if a string is empty in a way which break when using unicode strings)

What do you mean by rebase? Your merge fail and you wish me to update my branch before pulling it? Uri

Ok, I'm merging in the master.

Doing some minimal tweaking on the GUI.

Nice one :)
