emsi web site old data lingers.... The phenomenon appeared when I followed the Livingston's church landing site in the following steps:

  1. This morning I received the e-mail from Dan that Livingston's picture was already merged.
  2. I looked at Livingston's picture at the CEMC Livingston's church landing site, it was the old picture without the church sign. I left the emsi website "on".
  3. This afternoon around 1:30 pm Pastor Wu looked at the CEMC Livingston's church landing site, he told me the Livingston's picture has been updated.
  4. I looked at Livingston's church landing site and saw the old picture.
  5. I closed EMSI website, and clicked on the website again. The old picture was there.
  6. I closed EMSI website, shut off my computer system and restarted it again.
  7. Then I saw updated Livingston picture with the church sign in front.

Is it a problem?

109 Canceled Not a problem No, this isn't a problem. Your browser is caching the images. Which it should do since images don't change all that often. When you restarted the computer and browser then downloaded the new image.

I worked on Osaka (Chinese) web page. I worked on table maneuvering today:

  1. I typed in Chinese characters, the editor accepted.
  2. I was able to delete cell, delete cell, add row, delete row ; the editor accepted correctly.
  3. I created a row before the table, and was able to insert words in the table. However, the extra row does not have border line. I do not know how to create the border line of a table/a cell.However this seems to have no effect on the final saved version.
  4. I have not tried to put down a picture (.jpg). I have the impression it would not work.
  5. Please let me know what else I need to test in cut & paste.

editor test report Summary – of test result 1/14 -1/15/14 A. Test goal: To see if it is possible to make changes of pastor’s name in a church landing site. Test: I repeat the test in issue = 80 dated 2013/12/3, i.e. to remove Pastor Lin’s name from the church landing site of ECMSI Brooklyn.
Result: I removed Pastor Lin’s name from the web page successfully. Problem: However, I was not able to remove that empty line ( where Pastor Lin’s name was there before). In comparison with other church landing site, there are one extra empty line on top where pastor’s name, church address are. B. Test goal: To see I may replace an entire text of “Introduction”. Test: On the test site of ECMSI Brooklyn, replace the entire text of “Introduction” on the Chinese side. Result: Success. C. Test goal: To see if we may insert/replace entire text of “Introduction” in a church landing site with a picture. Test: On the test site of CEC Murray Hill, where there is a church picture, I replace the text with Rotterdam’s “Introduction” in Chinese. Result: Successful. D. Test goal: To see how the webpage looks when a large text is deleted. Test: On the test site of CEC Murray Hill where there is “Introduction” text, I remove the entire text. Test Result: The web page looks OK.
