Have an NPC titled “physical trainer” or something who you select one of a few classes that you can be (all better than default). Ex:
heavy lifter (more inv capacity)
swordsman (higher strength w melee weapons)
thinker (slower insanity close in).
Currently thinking none should cost money, although I suppose they could.
Why
While most NPCs are geared towards overall progress between games (minus alchemist), this would add an interesting element to individual rounds, and would allow a user to pick a preferred playstyle (a common element to these games).
