Feature: Keep longer backlog of timers? #52

Closed cansar closed 2 years ago

Right now it seems like the plugin only shows the most recent 4 timers (might partially be based on a time cutoff so maybe it sometimes shows more). It would be great if it was possible to show more and/or search them. I'm not sure if that's an API limitation but if not this would be great to have.

With the short list I find that I accidentally recreate tasks with slightly different phrasing/spelling.

Hi! I'm surprised to hear this, I've always gotten a quite long list of recent timers:

I just checked, and it looks like that list is populated with the most recent 50 or less entries of the past 7 days (whichever constraint is met first).

I assume in your use case, you either

A. don't use Toggl frequently enough to populate that list. B. Reuse the same description so often that your latest 50 entries only have the 4 unique descriptions as you mentioned.

Could you elaborate in which of these two cases you fall?

Ah, it's the last 7 days then! I guess I've been focused on a small list of things the last few days. Thanks for clarifying!
