Expected behavior

Expect angular project to compile with no issues

Actual behavior

Project does not build and produces this error. Looks like there are merge conflict markers in the file Fails locally as well as in Travis ERROR in ./node_modules/angular-bootstrap-md/scss/mdb-free.scss Module build failed: } ^ Invalid CSS after " }": expected "}", was "<<<<<<< HEAD" in /home/travis/build/jameshmread/ProfessorX-App/node_modules/angular-bootstrap-md/scss/angular/free/_navbar.scss (line 51, column 6) Error: } ^ Invalid CSS after " }": expected "}", was "<<<<<<< HEAD" in /home/travis/build/jameshmread/ProfessorX-App/node_modules/angular-bootstrap-md/scss/angular/free/_navbar.scss (line 51, column 6) at options.error (/home/travis/build/jameshmread/ProfessorX-App/node_modules/node-sass/lib/index.js:291:26) @ multi ./node_modules/font-awesome/scss/font-awesome.scss ./node_modules/angular-bootstrap-md/scss/bootstrap/bootstrap.scss ./node_modules/angular-bootstrap-md/scss/mdb-free.scss ./src/styles.scss ERROR in ./node_modules/angular-bootstrap-md/scss/mdb-free.scss Module build failed: ModuleBuildError: Module build failed: } ^ Invalid CSS after " }": expected "}", was "<<<<<<< HEAD" in /home/travis/build/jameshmread/ProfessorX-App/node_modules/angular-bootstrap-md/scss/angular/free/_navbar.scss (line 51, column 6) at runLoaders (/home/travis/build/jameshmread/ProfessorX-App/node_modules/webpack/lib/NormalModule.js:195:19) at /home/travis/build/jameshmread/ProfessorX-App/node_modules/loader-runner/lib/LoaderRunner.js:364:11 at /home/travis/build/jameshmread/ProfessorX-App/node_modules/loader-runner/lib/LoaderRunner.js:230:18 at context.callback (/home/travis/build/jameshmread/ProfessorX-App/node_modules/loader-runner/lib/LoaderRunner.js:111:13) at Object.asyncSassJobQueue.push [as callback] (/home/travis/build/jameshmread/ProfessorX-App/node_modules/sass-loader/lib/loader.js:55:13) at Object.
