Back to basics: installation issues #35

Dear experts,

After 5 attempts to in stall this plugin I am now keeping my fingers crossed things will keep on working now. What created problems:

Sorry to present you with such "modest" problems for dummies, but is all working well for me or do I have an issue. And why can some experiences not be a bit more flawless (e.g. the renaming of the zip file directory name).

Install a release zip from here: https://github.com/mdsimpson/contact-form-7-to-database-extension/releases

Don't just take a zip of the repo then try installing that. You get the wrong directory name.

That would have helped (I just fixed the zip file instead) but that was not the major issue I discovered.

I still had problems when the updater wanted to update the slightly older version of the plugin I had installed and it ended up removing files of the plugin... I hope that will not happen when I try to update either the github updater or CFDB next time. Keep my thumbs crossed.
