libfronius is a free software library to send/receive data to/from Fronius inverters which implement Fronius' serial communication protocol. This library can use a serial port or an Ethernet connection.
The description of the serial communication protocol is available e.g. in the manual to the Fronius Interface Card easy[1].
The license of libfronius is LGPL v2.1 and the licence of programs in tests directory is GPL v3.

The library is written in C and designed to run on Linux.
The shell commands are ./autogen.sh; ./configure; make; make install.
