Before installing those samples please make sure that Maven and git have been installed and configured properly on your local system.

You can do:

git clone git@github.com:michaelisvy/hibernate-4-spring-3.1-samples.git cd hibernate-4-spring-3.1-samples mvn eclipse:eclipse

Your project is now ready to be imported into Eclipse. File -> Import -> Existing project into Eclipse
