Build Instructions #36

I am interested in building the OpenType font for Egyptian, but I have not been able to figure out how. Would it be possible to provide an explanation for how how to build the font? Thank you.

Thanks, but that seems like a very different project from this one.

The font is now available: https://github.com/microsoft/font-tools/tree/main/EgyptianOpenType/font

I will be improving the build instructions in the coming weeks.

I have posted the seed font and updated the config so it will consume the seed font directly, build the OpenType, and compile the font. The font still needs to be opened with Volt and compiled there. Currently, I'm having to use FontTools version 3.44.0 to be successful.
