In version 1.0.20240110.1 there is an additional Requested By field that allows the the email address of the requestor to be provided to the Business Approval workflows.

This field used in the approval to inform the approver who the request relates to.

The custom connector for the Approvals Kit should validate that the value provided is an email address

Look at extending this to validate any parameter of type Email to ensure the value is valid.
