HTML not being converted to markdown correctly #231

Steps to Reproduce

See https://ocwnext.odl.mit.edu/courses/1-561-motion-based-design-fall-2003/sections/tools/ and the screenshot below. The last item has ** in the output instead of bolded text.

The HTML for both links is similar but not exactly the same (from parsed JSON):

Mass Shaker on the Same Building (working): <a href=\"http://ocw.mit.edu/ans7870/1/1.561/tools/massshaker/mshake.html\"><strong>Mass Shaker on the Same Building</strong></a>
