Is the Android client planned to be updated? #368

Just recently I learnt about port knocking, did some basic stuff with iptables and was pretty happy with the result. That's where I discovered SPA and fwknop. If I understand this works by sending a single, encrypted packet compared to a traditional port sequence.

I found this repository, https://github.com/jp-bennett/Fwknop2 but it is quite dated and doesn't work on latest Android devices.

Is there a plan for modern Android app with latest fwknop features?

I hope to eventually get back to that. Few other things on my plate as well. I had someone volunteer to do some updating to it, but never actually got any code.

hi Thx for response. Good to see active members :). If its going to be done eventually then great. There are countries that prohibit Wireguard VPN use and sending a single encrypted packet to open up a connection for various purposes is a good alternative from an Android device
