Conference call #1

Hello,

I was able to use 6921 phone with asterisk as per your config files, but cant make conference calls. it just says unable to complete conference. Is it an expected behavior ? Kindly let me know.

Hi,

Really I don't know. I don't use "Conference button" on the phone. Instead I use "Page" cmd and "ConfBridge" cmd of asterisk. This allows you to conveniently set up conference. But this is interesting question for exploration. If you didn't configure the button, so it does not work.

Thanks for your response. Yes, I'm asking about the conf button. I have tried all permutations and combinations in config file but still no joy. Since this is to be used in our office with more than 50 phones, asking the users to use alternatives instead of conf button will not be accepted. (Currently is using Cisco CM) Kindly let me know if you manage to make it work. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I tested conf button on my phone (according to the phone manual). And I can only have communication with one client, but another hold at that time. And I can switch between them. This is not the conference. That's why I think you should write some configuration instructions to the SEPMAC.cnf.xml file.
