LSF was killing these jobs; it looks like this one tool can hit the 8 GB limit.
We should plan for this better (i.e., my "fix" is really just a workaround) - perhaps add a limiter to the wrapper script this tool is invoking - but since this is the first time this has happened, this bump from 8 GB to 16 GB should be ok for now.
I branched off of master; it looks like dev didn't get the updated README commit, that's why it's included in this PR.
