Ability to have individual colors for each workspace names

mzomparelli commented 4 years ago

Are you referring to the font color of desktop names in Desktop View?

dsp0105 commented 4 years ago

Sorry for the delay in getting back,.. Yes, I am referring to font color of the desktop names in Desktop view.

dsp0105 commented 4 years ago

any update on this?

mzomparelli commented 4 years ago

I think this is doable. I would allow you to change the color on the "Desktops" tab. I will have to remove the color settings from the DesktopView tab too. I will start to work on this and will let you know when I have it working. I'd like you to be the second person to test before I release. I would be the first person to test obviously.

dsp0105 commented 4 years ago

Sure, thanks, I will test it.

dsp0105 commented 4 years ago

can you please update on this?

mzomparelli commented 4 years ago

Sorry, I've been caught up in other projects. I'll try to wrap this up over the weekend.

After further thought on this I think I'm going to add four properties for each of the first 9 desktops:

ForeColor BackColor ActiveForeColor ActiveBackColor

The colors set in the DesktopView tab would then apply to desktops 10 or above or if you have not set the individual desktops.

mzomparelli commented 4 years ago

This is just about ready. I'm just wrapping up a few things. You should be able to test soon.

mzomparelli commented 4 years ago

ok this is ready to try in 1.0.95.4

Let me know if you have any issues.

If the checkbox is checked then the normal desktop view color will be used.

there was a bug within this tab when saving settings so you may have go through each of the 9 desktop buttons and set the "Not Set" or reset to what you want. If your colors are not sticking then this is probably why.

dsp0105 commented 4 years ago

I am on 1.0.95.1 but zVD is not prompting me to update to 1.0.95.4?

dsp0105 commented 4 years ago

ok forced update fixed it

Thanks for implementing it, one request - can we have this ability to change colors from Workspace overview window, where we can right click on the workspace name and change color?
