Currently, it seems there is no EC2 GPU Spot Instance capacity. EC2 On-Demand GPU instance is very expensive, so it can not be used at the moment. Please wait for several hours/days. (I can not predict when the server capacity will be available.)

If you have an nvidia gpu you can always use waifu2x-caffe or waifu2x-gui for OpenCL like AMD

waifu2x site is hosted by EC2 GPU Spot Instance. Recently EC2 stops Spot Instances randomly because there are not enough GPU instances. The way to solve this issue is to use On-Demand instance, but it requires $ 1,600 per month.

@Co2333 you already have a GPU an even powerful at that, so you can use the offline version of waifu2x called waifu2x-caffe and can even use the CPU for processing if you don't have a GPU

I have waif2x-caffe on my PC, but I basically use a Mac. No OSX version there. The online version is quicker and I do not have a PC GPU that supports CUDA. Any resizing I make on the PC take much more time than the online version.

If we have to use the offline version, what options should be used to achieve results as close as possible to the web version? I tried all kinds of stuff with waifu2x-caffe, but I can't get the same picture as the online version did. Personally I need to achieve the effect that does the "no upscaling, maximum denoise Photo mode" combination in the web version. No other tool could replicate the nice strong denoising it makes.

@Seedmanc what do you mean? Waifu2x-caffe can definitely do "no upscaling, maximum denoise Photo mode" all you have to do is choose "Denoise only", "Level 3" denoise level, and Photo model
