@nesquena: Merged in 1.2.0.pre. Anything need to be done to push that gem? And when should we drop the pre?

I pushed 1.2.0.pre here. Let me also try it for a few days on a couple of the apps I work on and then we can remove the pre if nothing comes up for either of us. Sound good?

Yup. Fine by me. Things have been good for the last week in production for me (as far as I can tell)
