Deleting empty root does not delete

Joshua writes: If you delete a root, then delete the branches, the root doesn’t go away, and you need to click edit then delete to get rid of it.

Conditions:

• [x] Delete root with no child
• [x] Delete root with no child, but has a subsequent root comment
• [x] Delete child at end of thread
• [x] Delete child in middle of thread
• [x] Delete children, then root
• [x] Delete root, then children

Repeat as admin

• [x] As admin, Delete root with no child
• [x] As admin, Delete root with no child, but has a subsequent root comment
• [x] As admin, Delete child at end of thread
• [x] As admin, Delete child in middle of thread
• [x] As admin, Delete children, then root
• [x] As admin, Delete root, then children

Bugs:

• [x] Delete root with child is not detecting the presence of children (should be marked "DELETED" not actually removed)
