remove bower related stuff #49

Looks good to me. Its funny I thought that my push didn't have any _bower_components but it must have not overwritten them. do we need to git-ignore the bower components if we are removing them from the repo? Or is that just a precaution

there were some remove bower / add bower shenanigans while that PR was open. The rebase probably re-added it accidentally. Merging.
