My game design goal is that the player should make several automation systems to take care of Applied Energistics microcrafting.
Stages of AE
Independant Deep Storage. You have an Energy Acceptor, Inscriber, and ME Chest. With 1k ME storage cell. You can make Logic Processors.
Connected Network. You have Import and Export Bus, and cables attached to your chests and machines. You can make Calculation Processors.
Deep Storage. You have an ME Drive with lots of Storage cells. You can make Engineering Processors.
Autocrafting / Large scale Network. You can make ME Controller, Crafting Units, and Molecular Assembler.
Wireless Network. You have a ME Security Terminal, and Wireless Terminal.
Increasing the Challenge
None of AE should be available till you have Diamond tools.
[ ] Change how Processors are Inscribed, replace the redstone used with a redStone Chipset.
[ ] Change material that is used to make Printed Calculation Circuit.
[ ] Change material that is used to make Printed Engineering Circuit.
[ ] Change how Silicon is obtained.
Change Recipes for:
[ ] Inscriber, use Steel, and OC:Chip1
[ ] Charger,
[ ] Crystal Growth Accelerator
[ ] Energy Acceptor
[ ] Energy Cell
[ ] Crafting Unit
[ ] ME Interface
[ ] ME Storage Housing, and Storage Cells.
[ ] ME Drive
[ ] ME IO Port
[ ] ME Controller
For many of these just replace Iron with Steel.
Tasks:
[ ] Need to Brainstorm how to make ME Controller very expensive.
[ ] Add Certus Quartz Tools, they are Diamond harvest level. They have better Enchantedly then diamond. A little better than Iron. Less Durability than Diamond.
