Also consider http://arborjs.org/halfviz/#/cube for an interactive environment. Moreover here there is a comprehensive survey and of course have a look at D3.

Hi Massimo, we have seen some other libraries but the library we've chosen has many examples and plugins that are useful for our goals. For those reasons, we've decided to continue to use the library sigma.js. We send you the links to the repository of the library and the wiki, if you want to see it.
