Application Features

Before beginning to actually write some code, there should be a decision concerning the set of features that the application is supposed to have when finished/released.

This issue should therefore contain the goals of this project (as of right now) and their specifications.

A first brainstorming list of features that the app is supposed to have was created with @nordglueck:

• instant save on every change
• very easy usable
  • easy shortcuts
• notes
  • incl. links to YT Videos
  • timecode until where the video was watched
  • automatic play from there on
  • title is main feature
  • description optional
  • date created
  • date last saved
  • self formatting of links etc
  • with preview (thumbnail)
    • can be turned off in settings
  • should be overridable by user
  • tags
  • highlighted with color and text
  • for different categories
  • custom creatable
  • categories
  • planned, for next stream, and done exist by default
    • done is hidden or somewhere else by default
  • drag and drop for moving notes
  • translations
  • global search
  • some options (search in deleted, filter by date etc)
  • export/import for backup file and transferring to another computer
