I took the above screenshot by clicking on "power" button in RHEL7 machine. I don't think I should be allowed to turn it off.
I've asked this in RT ticket 4003541:
I'm concerned whether I can by mistake reboot or power of TSD linux server. See screenshot below.
And the answer is:
Unless you're given special rights (which I could not confirm on the machine), you cannot. I tested it on a rhel7-login test machine and it does indeed count down to 0. Then it asks for authentication, which will fail.
So we are safe - not possible to reboot by mistake. Closing the ticket.
