This is in progress but it is not clear when things should happen, and what implications it has for the users

This addresses a lot of issues, e.g. the fact that s3api can only copy the data to durable - so another copy is needed on cluster.

As discussed today on TSD big users meeting - the new system passed internal performance testing, and that looks great. A very preliminary date for starting data migration to the new system is early April, but there is some uncertainty around it. More info later - and it has to be an official announcement from TSD, of course. Until then it's just me saying rumors.
