Custom Minigun Barrels not spinning #1

This was an issue with Custom Weapons 3, but the barrels of custom minigun models do not spin at all. Ive tried with the Leviathan and the Cerberus, neither work. Sure, they load completely fine, but is it possible to fix this? For reference, other models with animated parts do work correctly, for example, the turbine on the Afterburner flamethrower spins correctly.

I don't have any idea what models you're referring to, mind linking their resources (models / textures) for reproducibility?

That said this probably won't be fixed any time soon; the entity viewmodel wearable code is mostly lifted from CW3 so they'll both run into the same issues. It'll probably stay that way unless someone else finds a workaround for that quirk and publishes their solution; I don't really care to look into it myself.

This absolute unit is the Leviathan: https://gamebanana.com/skins/168298 This mod does work, with a spinning barrel (war paints dont work but oh well), but the barrel doesnt spin when applied to a minigun with CWX. Here's the Cerberus too: https://gamebanana.com/skins/142241
